HELP Please !!
I've got a 2ltr EOTEC engined CDX on a S plate, great car apart from a ruddy great crack all the way throught the exhaust manfold !
Blows like a bugger when cold but is ok when hot. I've managed to get a manifold off a 2ltr Vectra and am wondering if the manifolds are the same. They look identical from the outside ?
Anyone know if its the case ???
thanks

I guess that'll be a "yes"..
I have 2 manifolds, both cracked a little as are most of the ones i've looked at!
Just be careful with the bolt nearest the front of the engine (by the thermostat) as they seem to snap quite easily...

Thanks for the info , looks like I've got the right part!
Only problem is that the water pump pulley failed on Friday.
Not sure if the valves have gone , I was only doing about 20mph the time , but experience says the engine will be knackered !!
Only had the cam done 12 months ago / 6000 miles by nationwide !
Am gonna see if they were supposed to have changed the pullies and if I've got any come back on em but not holding me breath !!
Gutted !!
