Bottom corner of radiator, passenger side you'll find a red drain tap. You'll be able to drain around half of the 2 gallon(-ish) system.

In addition, the 2.5 Diesel has an engine block drain, sadly missing from the Vauxhall engines...

Thanks again for the info.  While I am about it, I am "popping" off the heads and will either overhaul mine or replace with 2 that I,ve already got.  I've got James Guide which seems prety good and at the moment I've removed enough parts to build a ford focus!!!  Just to speed me up later, does anyone have a ready-made list of bits, seals, sealants etc.  that I'll need to put it back together properly?  I have read many guides on the forum that note the various sealants etc that perform properly but I'd have to revisit a lot of pages.  I'm not lazy but with 4 Kids maybe I shouldn't even have started!!!

I look forward to any advice.

All the best :)
