I'm thinking of doing a few little modifications to the omega, nothing major and all relativly tasteful :P
I would like to drop the suspension maybe 30-40mm but I'd kind of like to do it properly.
Trying to find matched dampers and springs is near impossible (I think) From what I can tell koni definately made shocks for the omega but not sure if they can still be got?
It'd be a lot easier to just get a decent set of lowering springs and use the standard shocks but would this compleatly destroy the ride of the car then.
Anybody else done any work like this to their car?

have a look into fitting Mv6 suspension. The model the police used. It has a lower and firmer ride i beleive. Theyre not much into moding on here. With good reason usually. Irmsher(spelling?) do lower springs. That might get you started. Oh and have a look in the gallery. Saw something in there the other day. Hope helps.

Thanks,
MV6 might be the way to go I suppose, properly designed for the car although might be tricky enough to find one being broken in Ireland. As long as its lower anyway, I'm planning on a set of 17" wheels and it'll look funny unless its lowered a bit.
Note: I'd like to point out that by modifing I mean, lower it, take the badges off, put a decent set of wheels on it and upgrade the brakes.
As opposed to stick 4 8inch exhaust pipes and an ironing board on the back ;D

Interesting...
Just found this http://www.fk-automotive.de/websale7/FK-High-Tec-Sport-Supension-Kit-35-40-fit-for.htm?Ctx=%7bver%2f7%2fver%7d%7bst%2f3eb%2fst%7d%7bcmd%2f0%2fcmd%7d%7bm%2fwebsale%2fm%7d%7bs%2ffk%2dautomotive%2fs%7d%7bl%2fEnglish%2fl%7d%7bmi%2f8%2d2834%2fmi%7d%7bpi%2f1110164%2fpi%7d%7bpo%2f1%2fpo%7d%7bsf%2f%3cs2%3e%24%241%3c%2fs2%3e%3cs11%3eOpel%3c%2fs11%3e%3cs12%3eOmega%20B%3c%2fs12%3e%2fsf%7d%7bp1%2f7a4eb0f8dba2b22daf2160d9d845db90%2fp1%7d%7bmd5%2f95d48a38a9407fd9d50c61d58e9e70a8%2fmd5%7d
Possibly a bit pricy at €400 but might be what I'm looking for.
Interestingly €850 buys you a full coilover kit :o
