hi i was wonderin if sum1 could help me with a question i was goin to install a viper induction on my 2.5 v6 but then i got told i couldnt as he makes the car over rev then die wen u pull up to junctions so can sum1 please help

if you will install kits on your car you dont get any more power just more noise over 3500 rev
but if you install induktions kits, sports exhaustes and remap then poss get up to 10-15 % more power and rev go bet up

I think this topic has been raised many times before - virtually all the "induction kits" require the filter element (be it foam or cotton) to be oiled. This oil then gets dragged through the air flow meter (MAF), cooking onto the hot wire element. Before you know it, you're looking at terrible running problems, management lights and a bill for a new MAF sensor - and a recommendation to put the original filter arrangement back on.
If you equate more noise with more power - go ahead. There's virtually no restriction in the standard setup so i fail to see how you can gain anything? Most of the "+10bhp" gains are over a DIRTY standard air filter; a standard clean one might not "look as good", but will perform better in 99% of cases.

Dont bother adding this, will cause more problems and will give almost zero benefit....
