i,ve just bought tuning box on fleabay. powerlink is the maker, any of you guys using them? there is a rubber hose with a t piece on it, i guess that will fit into wastegate hose once cut?
-
Can you post up a pic or more info? What's it supposed to do?
I'm a suspicious sod about things like this :y

Would be intersting to see what this is... sounds like something o control the boost if it has a t-piece?
Best bet for more power is to get a chip.

I think this is it

Think Omegatoy used to have a tuning box, so he is possibly best to advise...

I've used this one:

..and it makes a big difference.
Just don't use it on an auto unless you have the uprated box...3rd gear doesn't last very long !! :-[

Sounds like you've just bought a standard bleed valve - a chip will be considerably better in terms of performance/economy improvement.
The bleed valve might give more boost - but without the fuelling changed to suit you might not get much more mid-range. You stand more chance of getting a fault code than more power...
