Title: Rear Diff

Hi, does anyone know any part numbers for a rear diff for my 2.5 TD Estate as mine is not very well!
Locked up on me the other day and I need to find a replacement part as the rest of the car is good.
Will any other omega diff work or is there a gear ratio on the diff?
I would be very grateful for any help.

locked up? Can you give more detail? What happened exactly? Are your sure the hand brake shoe lineing has not fallen off into the bottom of the drum and jammed the hand brake on?
I have seen posts on here re ratio, i think there are a phew to choose from, but dont know enough to advise. Someone will be along. "May" be worth a call to vx with your reg. no? Hth.

It is certainly the diff as it only locked up for a short time and now when you spin the back wheel you can hear the gears clonking around inside the diff.  I have spoken to vauxhall but with no sucess so far.
