Title: LPG exhaust vapour?

Been running my Elite for 4 months now and noticed a steamy ? exhaust when sitting at lights when all other cars arent producing any vapours.

Does LPG usually do this ?

All seems well with oil , water and temp so a bit curious.........

I've not noticed it any better or worse on LPG, but Omegas do tend to steam quite a lot anyway, IME. I think because there's a fairly substantial exhaust system which doesn't run hot enough to fully vapourise the water during urban driving.

Same here, lots of steam with gasoline only, and as Kevin Wood said, quite a lot of pipework under the car and cats are taking all the heat from the exhaust gas so mainly water is left...

don't worry, everything is ok

the products of lpg combustion are water vapour and CO2,

another thing is, the lpg combustion gives a bit higher temperature then gasoline combustion, so the exhaust gas also can be a bit warmer

here in Poland many many cars run on lpg, and it is normal to see 'clouds' of water vapour behind them (at lights for example) :)
