Title: Misfire
Post by: MrTuco on 13 September 2008, 22:07:00: Ok, I am sure this is nothing new but I can't see this Q in FAQs, so I will try this out for size. I have bought new Coil pack, leads, plugs, rocker covers. & guess what!!!!!!!!!!!!!! yesppers, it still misfires & pops. I have thrown 500 squid at this car so I now need to keep it. The engine management light is now on, so do I take it to VX for diagnosis or is there something I am missing? All I want is a car that runs nice.

Post by: MrTuco on 13 September 2008, 23:12:22: OK, so I will do this test tomorrow & then post how many times it flashes & in what order, if this is correct then would someone be able to help me cure the car possibly?, I am sorry that I am not too good at this yet, but give me a few years & I will be ok at it..., cheers.

I'd be checking the connections around the engine to ensure evrything is plugged in properly ...

Check also the connection to the rear of the plenum which operates the multiram.

Sorry, I will learn soon & one day might be able to help others, or do you think there is no hope for me...lol, Cheers
