Title: Insulation under the carpets
Post by: Rockfordk on 15 September 2008, 15:52:47
I recently had a blocked skuttle resulting in a wet floor. this remained unnoticed for a while, and as a result the car now resembles a walk in the meadow after the cows have been!
I need to get some new insulation to fit under the carpet. The smell won't leave the existing ones!
I have just been quoted in excess of £400 (!) by the local vauxhall garage to buy the carpet complete with insulation.
Does anyone have any alternative ideas, or some kicking about the garage!

Cheers mate. Even left the back bit in my shed to dry out. You have to be brave to go in there now!
