Assume its an Auto then, still sounds a bit heavy to me for a 2.2.

I get 26 to 29 in town and 33 to 36 on Motorway for my MV6 3.0 Manual if driving sensibly?

No thats not good for a Manual, Are you taken the MPG from the MID (not sure if the Sports have them on the Dash) or by doing a Brim to Birm when filling up?.

Not knowing your Car, a service should allways help, ie Clean Air filter, Oil, Fuel etc. Also might be worth cleaning all the breathers and inlet butterflys etc and MAF sensor. Also worth checking you have correct tyre preasure and try adding an additives for the injecters.

Lots of 'How too's' on here for all that sort of stuff. :y

Hi, my 2.2 auto estate returns 26mpg around town and on its fortnightly run to London returns between 35 to 36 mpg these are readings from the mid on the dash.

Ive got two 2.5TD's one manual the other auto, Ive never been that impressed with the Auto (her in doors one) but that would do 30 in town and 38 ish on a run.

The Manual tractor does about 36 in town and 40 on a run, thats also with a lot of wieght on board and ladders and stuff on the roof. if its empty about 38 in town but a lot more on a run, about 44 to 50.
