Post by: EliteV6 on 14 September 2008, 14:35:00
Im thinking of attempting to do the cambelt on my 2.6 V6, is there anyone in the South Devon area who has done it before and would like to help out or do it for me for cash? Thanks

you should use a locking tool for every cambelt unless its a SOHC Renault engine where a brick will sufice

 ;D

A brick will suffice for most "adjustments" on those engines. They come in handy to chuck on the accelerator when you've had enough and driven it to beachy head too.
