Title: Faulty fuel filter connection

As you can see I have split the pipe going into the fuel filter and the connection is not sealing to the filter. My question is if I was to use new fuel pipe and connect it to the fuel tank then connect it to the fuel filter without using the securing clips but using a jubilee clip would this work or do I need to get a new pipe from the stealers?

That`s what was used in the good old days. Can`t see there being any problems as long as the clips are tight ;D

Well just to let you all know that I have done a temporary fix for now until I can get the new pipe. I went on a quick drive and came back and its still leaking but very very slight but should be ok. The clips are as tight as I dare to do them. What I done in the end was used the old pipe connected a pipe connector into the old pipe and fitted into the new 6mm pipe then connected onto the filter secured with a jubilee clip and job's a gud un.
