Ok, I am losing PAS fluid... most definately.
It's dripping off the secondary air injection pipe, passenger side. It also seems to be congregating on the bottom of the PAS pump, and dripping on the floor.
The pipes that join the PAS pump and those joins seem v dry.
Could the pump be leaking somewhere, or is it somewhere else???
Additionally, when going on full right lock especially, it seems to loose assistance (more than is normal).
Any ideas - knackered pump, or anything else? :'(

How do you mean it looses assistance?
Reason i ask is mine seems to tighten for a split second and there is a slight judder on hardish lock, wonder if similar symptoms?
Checked hoses and similarly were bone dry :-?

Check the auxilliary drive belt is'nt worn for lack of assistance.
Also check there are no kinks in the hoses before forking out any cash for a new pump.

If the layout of the v6 is simular to the 2.0 the sai pipes run under the power steering resivour and the resivour leaks at the pipe joins the fluid runs down the pipes and transfers onto the sai pipes also covers the pump. Try tighting the clips on the resivour it worked for me.
