All the other seats heat up fine, but the drivers seat doesn't, base or backrest. All plugged in but still no heat. Easy to fix/replce or is it a new seat?

Common fault on these apparently. Both of the ones I have had have not worked. With cloth seats you can get the heater elements separately. I have been led to believe from other posts on here that the leather ones are sewn onto the seat covers. TBH its only the initial chill that you need to live with. Also they are not good for piles lol.

Take it all out & have a look. You may be as lucky as I was & just need to cut out a little section of the heater element just up from where the loom joins it. The base & lower back sections are in series with each other so it's either both or none if one of them fails. Leather seats have the heated pads sewn in whereas fabric seats have a seperate pad. I can see no reason why you couldn't put a pad into your seat if the leather pad has failed.
Carefull removing the seat if you have airbags & it's bl00dy heavy. :y
