hi all.
found this knob on the nearside inner wing. appears to control vacum from the brake servo to the air inlet manifold via a small diameter vacum pipes.
any ideas ??

Done for you. Just needed img hyperlink /img adding. The img bits need [] brackets round each of them.

Which diesel, 2.0, 2.2 or 2.5?
It looks liek the EGR valve vac operating solenoid on the 2.5.....

Hi yes its on the 2.5 BMW type unit, is it adjustable as you can rotate the know neither way ?

woops what i meant to say was you can rotate the knob either way ;D
