Title: Sunroof
Post by: graham131 on 06 October 2008, 16:59:12
Hi - wonder if anyone has any suggestions.

My sunroof has suddenly stopped operating (electric) - Is it likely to just be the fuse?

I think the fuse that controls it is fuse 25 - a 20A one - can anyone advise if that is correct?

Thanks

Graham

I had this with mine after I had disconnected the battery.

There's a procedure in the manual, but if you twist it to one of the open positions and push the knob and hold it, it will open to that position. Then, twist to close position and push and hold again. That should get it working again.

However if that doesn't work, then yes, try the fuse next.

If battery has been disconnected then yes it will need resetting...full procedure is set to full open and push up until its completed...full close and push up until its completed...full tilt and push up until its completed...

Will most likely have to reset the auto open and shut for the windows too...hold open button for each front window till fully open...hold button for each front window till fully closed...job done! Back to single touch open and closed...

When  I reset my sunroof all I have to do is push and hold the button in for say ten seconds and that works , also to reset the windows I just hold the buttons in the up position for ten seconds each and this two works  :y

Windows auto open still seem to work - will try the "push" method - however can i just clarify you mean the actual sunroof dial knb in the roof?  (I did not know it pushed!!)
