Remembering the fun and games I had with my scorpio,I checked the old plugs from my miggy.
5 plugs = 3k to 4k 1 plug = 30 k. (all cleaned back to bright metal)
Is this high enough to prevent a spark?
I'm ,currently on the verge of ordering a new coil-pack,to replace one that looks and measures as new. Be nice if I could avoid this!!!
Only way to prove this at the moment is to reassemble with new plugs --and if i'm wrong... :'(

Does seem something's happened to that one. For the cost of plugs on TC I'd replace them anyway, having put the effort in to get to them.

:( Unfortunately I was barking up the wrong tree--new plugs fitted and top end re-assembled but still missing--sounds like a 5 cylinder jobbie.
Just spotted this thread http://www.omegaowners.com/forum/YaBB.pl?num=1223384930 regarding stuttering on pull of,something i have suffered with for several months in some degree or other.
Leads or dis-pack,which way to go? Talk about confused dot com............
I'm gonna toss a coin,heads= coil pack,tails= leads. ::)
Leads it is then

Dis pack failure would usually drop 2 pots

I must admit I am having serious trouble counting the bits that go bang and the bits that dont go bang--could be banging on four for all I know.
Instead of going zoom zoom zoom it goes frr frr frr.
