Title: brake light switch

anyone know where the brake light switch is and how easy is it to replace/fix?

Just above the brake pedal. Pretty easy to change.

To get to it it's easier if you move your seat back as far as it will go and lay the back rest as flat as it will go then you can lay on the seat  with your head on the floor then with the aid of a bright light you can see the switch.

Try removing the relay and fuse panels (2 screws each) for better visibility and access.
Remove the cardboard panel from above drivers feet.
Pull out plastic rivet and remove drivers footwell airvent duct.
Push the brake pedal down slightly and wedge it down against the seat with a stick etc.
Pull the switch plunger fully out...its on a ratchet.
Pull the locking sleeve fully out.
You should now be able to press in the two latches that hold the switch in place, if the locking sleeve isnt pulled fully out the latches will break.
When fitting the new switch look at the square hole, there is a notch in one corner, a pip on the switch must line up with this notch.
