Front tyres are nearly finished.
It is now clear though that the passenger side has worn primarily on the outer shoulder and the drivers one on the inside shoulder.
This would account for my pull to the left, but the question is, is it a sign that last years wishbones are duff of simply a tracking issue?

Sounds like tracking to me..... having said that when the cambers are out the inside edge of the tyre soon dissappears as I found out :-?
Maybe aswell taking to check the cambers Mark :y

If it were known to be OK before, something has shifted, so have a good look at the bushes. In fact, I'd do so before spending money on any alignment because it'll go to pot if you later have to change them.
They're not necessarily OK if they look OK either. You really have to get under there with a bar and lever them around. There should be movement, but not too loose. Easy with a calibrated hand, but difficult to describe in text, unfortunately.

I had new wishbones fitted last year, new tyres and 4 way tracking.
As this is not as good as WIM it's possible it's a bit out. Tyres have lasted a year and covered just under 20k which is good for me so I don't want to fiddle on too much, just found it odd they were both worn on the same side.

as kevin says, outside pass side can wear more due to roundabouts depends how enthusiastic you are ::)
sujest check w,bones, s idler and for broken springs, rectify any faults then off to wim with you. also to be safe check while you at it, track rod ends and struts, belt and braces style... :y

If they've done 20k they must be reasonably worn all over, so I'm guessing that the fact that the shoulder wear hasn't reared its' head before now (or gone through to canvas at 12k like mine did) :( means it's not too bad. I'd still have a good check over it and get it setup anyway. Could be the springs have relaxed a little and put it out.

Hi Chopsdad,
I don't think you'll find it's got anything to do with the tracking as this would wear either outside of both or inside of both and not one of each, sounds more to me like Camber's the problem to me :-/.
