All v6's should have Traction control, Stability management was a optional but rarely taken up

They don't. Just traction control.
You often see Omegas on eBay that are supposed to have ESC though. :-? :y

Mine has ESC according to the bumph I got with it. It was a Vx fleet show car for the 1st 3 years of its life with a personal VXO plate.

So .... i'm wrong again, I though they just had 4 channel ABS linked up with the Traction Control.
Still a PITA though.  ;)

Maybe 4 channel ABS linked to TC is what they try to get away with as ESC. It's all marketing.

ESC (or ESP I think Opel named it) was really available to the very latest Omegas, I think 2002 and 2003 were the models. It's a full-function setup and very, very rare (as are 2002-2003 Omegas overall)

esc? esp? whatever it is. it is just another thing to fail and annoy with another warning light, and cost money to put right.
anyway if this optional extra is ever put into use on the vehicle it just shows it is not being driven properly :D :D :D

ESP was an option on facelifts, and obviously more advanced that the simpler bog standard ABS/TC setup.

Very, very rare.

The Omega brochure I have explains how the TC works like therefore eliminates the need for an LSD ::)

It does sort of work (1998 onwards for the braking), but nowhere near as good as LSD
