Title: omega Diesel computer display. which one ??

can any one advise me if a computer display from a 1997 3.0ltr V6 will fit my 1996 omega elite diesel.
I have a set of clocks from a 1997 V6 police omega and i am hoping it may do the job as the display looks the same and it has a yellow socket on the rear but it would be heplfull to find out if it is compatable with out the hassle of stripping the dash out only to find it the wrong one.

It should fit (assuming the plugs are the same, Yellow I belive for a 96), but the computer will probally be out, ie, auto / manual, tyre size, speedo etc, but assuming its does work then it can be tech 2'd to your model (someone on here will prop. offer for a small cost). :y
