Title: Starting issue's

Mrs. has had starting troubles with the car, it turns over fine then just stops before starting. After about 2 tries it starts up a bit lumpy but once running its' fine have had new plugs and leads recently, this is only the second time it's done it but it's done it now twice in the space of a week.

so, if i read correctly, the starter motor turns and seems to pause just before engine fires and runs poorly for a second of 2 ? Sounds like battery running out of juice to me, when it plays up has the car been stood/unused for a while?

Nope, did it after shopping and also did it after being sat for about an hour. Hope it's not the battery because that will be I think about the 4th in just over a year, had a new alternator in april too. Yeah you read correctly too  :y
