hi all-ive looked thro the threads and am i right in thinking the only place to get proper mv6 rear shocks is my local vx dealer stealer :o :'(
-
no... off ebay every so often or on here or vxon.co.uk
(usually when somebodys breaking an mv6 which there are one or two atm on ebay)
-
im after new, so will keep savin for vx ones?? :-/

If you can find someone with a tradeclub card the rears are £42+vat and the fronts unfortunately are £110+vat.
-
ok-thanks-and ouch!! :o :'(

remember though that you're not buying just 'stiffer' shocks for that, what you're actually buying when you get MV6 shocks is a set of police issue dampers. £360 is quite reasonable when you cosider the price of some of the aftermarket 'performance' shock sets for the car.
It's the price of the springs that'll give you a nose bleed! :(

To confirm, there are two spec of MV6 shocks.
One came on the civvy cars, the others were fitted to the police cars ;)

that's true of course, but I think that on the latest EPC3, the part has been up issued to one unit for all police/heavy use applications.
I might be wrong though.
