Title: Pulling left...
Post by: SSS - GB on 17 October 2008, 15:29:24
Hi

I have an ongoing problem where the car keeps wanting to pull to the left while i'm driving

I have had the following items replaced / done and it still does it:
-Wheel alignments
-Camber
-Idler arm
-lower suspension wishbones
-new tyres
-new front discs and pads
-checked tyre pressures

It's nothing to do with the camber of the road, i've tried other omegas.

Any suggestions?

see Tony at Wheels in Motion.  highly recommended by others on here.

And you are right to persist here because mine drives straight.
You do need to make sure that the tyres are not unevenly worn.  even if the car geometry is set up correctly, uneven tyres can cause problems.  BUT ultimately yours should drive straight and true - mine does and that's on pretty much original stuff

Was the geometry done properly (including the rear?)

would be worth getting full x4 wheel laser alignment done.........mine was pulling to lefdt, and driving very 'skittish', - had x4 wheel alignment done yesterday, and it is perfect now - drives nice and straight, no wobble, wandering etc,,,,,,lovely.    - now a happy chappy  ;D ;D [smiley=vrolijk_26.gif] [smiley=vrolijk_26.gif] [smiley=vrolijk_26.gif] [smiley=vrolijk_26.gif]

I had a similar problem with my 200sx.  Turns out one of the tension rod bushes had failed. Have you checked your bushes?
