Title: Fault code
Post by: ian6pot on 18 October 2008, 13:39:47
I have been having trouble with the tickover. It does not cut out but its very unstedy.I will be ok for a few mins and then it goes up to about 750-800 and the back down again.
I have checked the fault codes and now this is the question :-/

I have a code 19 stored(incorect RPM signal)is this likley to be the cause or could the code be caused by unsteady idle,if you see what i mean :y

A bit of a development.
Starting from cold is now a bit of a pig, once warm its ok.
Still getting code 19 even with engine running

Also when its starts from cold for a few seconds there is popping through the exhaust on overrun but clears after 30 or so seconds :-[
