As Im more machanically oriantated, I know nothing about paint and bodywork. So how would i go about removing the badges on my MV without leaving it in a mess and damaging the boot lid??? [smiley=undecided.gif]
All suggestions greatfully appreciated.

hi hotrod ive recently done the debadge on my boot lid i used thick cotton and held it either side of badge and used a sawing motion to carefully prise away from paintwork then when i got them off to remove old adhesive i used nail polish remover then wiped clean then a bit of car wax job done hope this has helped you

i'v done a bit of debadging.. i used a pallet knife shaped knife if that makes sense, the trick is to get it parallel to the bodywork and to run the knife through the black double sided tape stuff as near to the badge as possible, if you run it along the paint it wont mark it aslong as you have it parellel so it doesnt start trying to cut into it or just be safer than sorry and use the other methods but using a pallety knife is alot quicker ;)

Are you trying to hide the 2.0?
Don't do the V6 as debadging is usually reserved for bottom of the range cars, people will see it and if they know Omegas will assume you have a 2.0 with MV6 wheels

Besides I like my cars to be sleepers, no attention drawn if you know what I mean, unless she really starts howling when heavy on the go pedal is needed:y

ADD 2.0 is my shed and purely for work purposes only was 130ish BHP now the ponies have left the stable ::)

My MV6 is factory debadged, not even the word Omega on it.
Ljays is badged, with some extra imsecher ones stuck on, gets a lot more attention and people wanting to play.
I Like the sleeper effect.

Too right! - I removed all reference to engine size - just says OMEGA
It's quite good fun leaving people behind............. ::)
