Of course it does......its down behind the aircon compressor mount as per the 2.0

4 pot does have a crank sensor (2.0 l anyway) sort of next to the exhaust manifold and the dipstick in the most unaccessible area if you have air-con. You can follow the wire from the top of the engine at the front.
Doubt it's the crank sensor that needs changing anyway. Most problems are usually caused by the cam sensor anyway, especially starting problems.

Never heard of one going! Its usually the cam sensor.

Crank Sensor failure will give gradual starting problems on a 2.0, until it fails to start at all!
-
the vaux dealer advised the crank sensor ,more than the cam sensor
my miggy has only just started playing up
with the engine management light comming on whilst driving
but no affect to the cars performance only once has it gone into
slave mode when i started it

never really heard of crank sensors going on 4pots, its generally the cam sensor.

Hi, i've allready change mine (2.0 16v) ,i'ts a biiiiiiig trouble over there !!!!
pic of the oil pump ; pic off the air cond. motor and the respective suport, and there it is ; the bloody sensor ...

I'd give the cam sensor and it's mating face a clean before even attempting to change the crank sensor. Always got rid of crank sensor codes for me and a far simpler solution.
-
cheers!!!! will try to clean cam sensor first
easier option before trying crank sensor..........

Defo. the cam sensor, if you replace it make sure it's a genuine Vx. one.
