Title: exhaust problem

couple of weeks ago i had 2 new cats fitted and all was ok until yesterday when i heard a rattling noise def coming from the new cat. i had a friend rev up and i listened and the noise is coming from the first cat down near the manifold. it is very noticable when you first start the car and gets worse especially when putting your foot down hard to accelerate.
any ideas what would cause this.max.

poor mixture ! oil burning misfire ! cheap cats ?? if need another i have a as new one complete with both lambdas £80 + postage  :y

Could be a heat shield.

hi guys, i took the car to a friends house and he found that the heat shields were loose.a quick tighten and job done.thanks for your help
