I have fitted a new radio in a R Reg 2.0 Omega today, Now my central locking wont work. On the old radio had a red flashing light, has this got anything to do with it.
Please Help

not sure, maybe update your profile with your car(gls/cdx?) and location details and post what radio you had, maybe someone will know. Not sure on all the radio models on the omega tbh

Sorted it now. I had a wire going to Permanent live for horn. Took that out, now it works. But now i have no Permanent live for radio memory.
Help Please

there should be a perm live on the stereo plug, you might find that youve got to swap 2 wires over as i did [yellow & red] on the head unit, if youve got "bullet" connectors on your head unit wires plug yellow to red & red to yellow, that should sort it, what you are doing is swapping your acc live & memory live, had the same on all vauxhalls ive fittied after market head units to, :y

Its a brand new stereo and it say the orange wire needs a Permanent Live.

hold on im being a berk!, i couldnt find a switched live on my miggy so had to join the switched live [acc live] & the perm live together if my memory serves me, i can check in the morning to make sure but pretty sure thats what i had to do :-/, i take it your new head unit takes the standard 2 plugs, if so you will find it wont plug & play [which you have] & check to see if youve got a switched live first on the plug, if you have do what i said in my first post, if not follow above, it just means you can have the stereo on without the keys in the ignition.

On stereo plug on car, you find 12v, W contact (12v when ign on, and say on until key removed), and 0v.

TB does it depend on what year or type of miggy you have?, only i went through mine & couldnt find a switched live on the plug, out of desperation i went to the ignition switch, there wasnt one there either! [should there be??],all fuses were o,k thats why i connected my switched & perm live together, it was the only way it would work, my stereo [after market] i now have to switch off manually but as i take the face off its not a problem, the original head unit didnt work on the 1st position on the ign switch either, i suppose cos its mine its bound to be quirky :D

W contact is presented to radio on all Omegas.
W is 12v with ign on, but remains 12v until key removed. It is not 12v when key first inserted.

Tried everything for this perm live, still no good. Not being technical minded, whet does the W stand for. If I went directly to the battery will this work
