hiya,
just a quicky plus clears up some stuff for newbies when i get the replies...
can you use parts from the x25 such as cams on the y26 for example engine parts and can you use the 3.0 cams on the 2.6 or do you need the 3.2 ones if you know what i mean?
also is it just the bellhousing that you have to swap to use the ar25/35 on the 2.6 n 3.2?
only thing is if i cant get my 2.0/2.5 mish mash mobile running with immobiliser problems between wiring looms then it's getting broken for bits - i'm gna have v6 bits coming out of my ears!
thanks

IIRC i think Marks DTM has/is or wants to look into the 3.0 cams into a 2.6 scenario.
-
yes as the 2.6 Facelift GSi Vectra has 3.0 omega cams in it check on the vectra owners club

riiight... might have a nosey on vvoc if i can.
maybe a mod can make a sticky or something in tech info about using cams in the newer/older engines

hmmm.. have to take mine off then unless the cams end up goin with the head
-
Reason is that the cam bearings are line bored with the head......and hence must stay in the correct position and with the correct head!

I have been told to use 3.0 or 3.2 cams - which I will do next year
