Picked up my 02 elite yesterday - great, got to spend my first evening with it driving in SNOW.
Anyway, this morning I was driving about 90 miles down the A1 and round the M25, and noticed that on anything other than flat, level road the car would wander about in the lane, and requires a bit of attention to hold it in a straight line. The 'truck tramlines' on the A1 were particularly fun!
On the M25, long cambered turns would force me to turn into the camber quite heavily (8-10 degrees, maybe?) in order to stay in the lane.
Am I right in assuming that the wheel geometry needs doing? Or just the tracking?
I'm asking before i commit myself to £75 to £100 at WIM in watford - I understand from other posts that WIM is the preferred place for OOFers in the area?

may as well get it done properly at WIM :y
-
cheers - best get it booked in pronto!

Omegas shouldn't handle like that.My tracking was a long way out and it caused similar problems.
Mention that you are a member of the forum when you book with WIM and you should secure a capped price of £60 +VAT (£70).
Beware that he will not do the job if he finds something wrong (like the very common wishbones). There is no point... But at least you will know what needs doing.
He did a great job on mine and I am pleased that I went up from Southampton.
Keep us posted.
