think its a spring to the rear drum?
Omega has disc brakes on the rear for normal braking, but has drum for the handbrake. Could be missing its spring?
Btw as for rear fractured spring, make sure you replace the pair, not just the one. KYB is a good choice.

There's a couple of Omegas at Pimhole, Bury, half a mile from Jct 1 M66, if that's any use to you, even a facelift at Autosave.

measure the brake pipe you need & see if a motor factors have one ready made, i take it there is nothing special about it just a standard pipe with 2 flared ends & 11mm nuts.
