Title: rpm sensor fault

hi all thanx for lkooking , im getting a rpm sensor fault from time to time , comes and goes , anyone had this problem before , any ideas , cheers again

It would help if you posted this in the "General Help" section rather than the newbies "Introduction" area; you'll get more help.

Interested to find out the answer because my rpm needle seems to "stick" and then "jump" occasionally too

Yes, had this problme once. The rpm sensor was getting burnt out after a few weeks (was replaced about 5 times). Fault was caused because VX fitted an exhaust system badly and rpm sensor was getting cremated.

Symptoms were - engine would not rev over 2,800 rpm.
