Title: Remote central locking not working/intermittent

I only had a brief search about this, but my remote fob generally won't open/lock my car despite the red or green LED illuminating on pressing. After starting the car, I'll press the open button on the fob to reset, and sometimes the fob will lock the car when I've finished that journey, but often not when I return to open. It's also working less and less these days.
Is it an issue with the fob (it's a bit tatty now) or inside the car?

If it syncs ok with the car and works for a while after syncing most likely fob problem.
Have u tried new fob batteries?
