Title: Drivers Door - exterior handle

Hi - When I unlock with the remote and then pull the drivers door handle  (exterior) it doesn't feel like it should - almost as if it hasn't fully unlocked - but once its been opened it feels fine and the action is smooth once again.  Have tried using WD40 to try and release whatever is sticking.  Anyone got any ideas as to what could be causing it or any similiar experiences?

Quick update on this - tried locking and unlocking the car using the key in the lock and it all works as it should again, so I am thinking that the central locking motor or the connecting rod needs adjusting as it appears that it's just not pushing the interior lock up far enough....  so before I strip off the door card can anyone tell me what adjustments are possible?

I was gonna say solenoid at 6 this morning but typing it would have made me late lol. No real adjustment, I'd recomend giving it a good clean and a spray with a decent lube oil. They normally fur up with the dust.

when i did this on my rover, i sealed the plastic with clear silicone, which was ok at first, it ate through the plastic. if it wont stick back properly use a water based sealant, decorators caulk is ideal and cheap  ;)

Ok just had a crack at taking the door card off and managed to break the window switch cluster as one of the 4 retaining clips bent back on itself and snapped where it attaches to the housing (so beware of that if your attempting this) also the top of the door card was clipped onto the door frame pretty tight and took some wiggling to get off, the end result was that the window seal strip has started to come away from the door card so will have to think of away of re-attaching it (anyone know of any good strong glue?)

Apart from those little mishaps I managed to get to the solenoid and apply some lubrication that has done the trick (fingers crossed) so thanks for the pointers :)
