Post by: seprim on 08 November 2008, 16:16:59
Hi
Does anyone know what a heater bypass valve looks like for a 2.6 v6 elite 03 plate please (pictures would be a great help)
Also - there is a peculiar pump shaped thing which my coolant is channelled through and it lives under the header tank. Can anyone tell me what it is pls ?

It looks like this

And sits just behind the drivers side head.

The contraption you talk off is an additiona electric pump which circulates hot water round the heater matrix resulting in faster warm up of the cabin.

Although this (click here (http://www.omegaowners.com/forum/YaBB.pl?num=1193594464)) guide is a pre-facelift, I think that the process, and parts, are identical.

Good pictures too. :y
