Title: All my brake lights have gone off!

All of my brake lights have stopped working but I haven't noticed any other electrical things that have failed.

Has anyone got any ideas?

Hi Kate. Lovely as the car is i had brakelight issues with it, sometimes they stuck on as well as off but it's definately the switch behind the pedal.
  Thought i'd sorted it before selling her to you, sorry, Guy. :-[

most likely dodgy brake switch/wiring come loose

Mine play up occasionally Kate, although I have found if I give the pedal a good kick it sorts itself out :-[ :-[ ::) ::)

I'll try the stamping solution first. ;D

Then maybe an auto electrics place and bodyshop after the crash!! ;D

new brakeswitch is around £11 + vat from dealer.  2 different types for 2.5s, one for cruise, and one for non cruise.

I'm taking her to the garage on Tuesday to get sorted.

Don't get ripped off Kate it's only a switch. I replaced a few but only ever with used ones. Hope she's serving you well otherwise. I hate selling cars to people i know but she is a good'un. I know it sounds soppy but i miss her sometimes, she was my first!!!! :D

I don't think Ill get ripped off at the garage, the bloke seems alright.  

I washed her the other day in the freezing cold.  I was thinking of you Guy as if you were watching me and criticising! ;D
