Title: Oh good! oil in the coolant..

2.5 V6 auto.  I suspect head gasket - before I fork out are there any other likely causes? how much should it set me back?  :'(

Oil cooler, not HG.
Easier fix, too :y

Cool - I will speak to my mechanic tomorrow 4 a price... I really don't want to have to scrap the beast!!  :-/

oil in the coolant oil cooler failed.
coolant in the oil/sump, hg failed.
James is a good bet, done the job a phew times, from what i have read, and a very experienced eye while hes there. :y

Thanks mate - let me know. I may need to act fairly fast though, can't really afford to be off the road too long. Ball park figure?
