Title: Engine Temp
Post by: X30XE on 16 November 2008, 18:08:39
On the 2.0 what temp should we be seeing the engine stabilise to?  Took the car out earlier and it was getting up towards 99, turned the heater on, and it dropped back towards 95.  I know the HBV is kerry packered but will that affect the rad cooling as well?   :-/

difficult to say. I was moving at the time.  temp seemed to rise if heater not on.  Previously i left it idling whilst i did the tyres at the air machine.  when I got in and drove off it was at 95 and climbing.

Check if fans come on - could well be a faulty fan switch
