I havn't started grovelling under the car yet, but is there any way of adjusting the handbrake. It will fail it's MOT next time as the the lever is now right at the top.
It is on discs at the rear, but I believe the handbrake works on shoes inside the disc..
Thanks
Colin

Look in Maintenence Guides section - there is an excellent guide to do it properly :y

Thanks Theboy, have found that!

The cable adjustment is accessible without having to remove the heat shield, just make sure you have a short ring spanner to fit the nylock nut, it's a bit of a squeeze but I've adjusted the handbrake on my 2.2 auto in 10 mins.

On my 2.5 V6 it was difficult enough to get onto the adjusting nut and turn it even with the heat shields removed! :o :o :o

Thats fast. I reckon I would struggle to get the back end on stands, and the rear wheels off in 10 mins :o
