My 3.0 Elite has a brandnew Vx Go battery on it. No known problems on the car. Car has not been driven for a few weeks so today I asked a mate to muve the car for me as I am unable to do so and there was just enough power to open the central locking, car wouldnt start, no dash lights etc.
Even with the recent cold weather how long should I expect a fully charged battery to keep its charge.
TIA. :y

I agree, something must be draining it!
Does your boot lamp operate correctly?
No aftermarket electrics are there?
The relay for the rear fag lighter has been known to cause problems on facelifts....should only stay active for 10 mins after stop.

Nothing aftermarket.
I just click the remote and walk away, I dont even deadlock the car. Not sure if the alarm is switched on on the 1st or 2nd level.
Will remove the boot and bonnet lamps if neccesary.

Make sure its been parked with the indicator switch in the middle. I would have thought three weeks with the alarm on would be enough to drain a battery, but I could be wrong :-/

I agree. If the battery is in tip top condition it might last a month but it's to be expected that it's gone a little flat. Give it an overnight trickle charge and try again.
