Title: shock absorbers

are all the shocks the same throughout the omega range ?

i ask because i was planning on swapping my springs for MV6 ones but leaving the shocks i have on the car or ar ethe mv6 ones different/shorter?

i think all the petrol springs/shocks are the same except mv6...
the confusing ones are that the mv6 has different shocks so lower so could be different springs...
the rears on saloon vs estate afaik are different (some have air rears for self leveling) and then diesels have different fronts

Not sure about shocks but springs usually work off the weight. There is a difference between auto and manual gearbox springs on some cars due to the weight of the box, also engine sizes. When I got my Eibach for a vec I had to supply the weight from the plate on the b pillar as there were 3 different springs for the V6 vec. Have no idea how the weight differs on Omegas though so dont know if they are the same.
