First things first.....is the engine temp getting up to 90-95 degrees in a reasonable time?

Do you have climate control?

Maybe need to reset the climate control. Cant remember how you do it... I 'think' you hold the 'OFF' and 'AUTO' button in for a few seconds, but im not sure!

I've been having the same problem for what seems like ever now, i changed the HBV at the weekend, no difference. The old one was full of brown goo though.
I guess it must be a blocked heater matrix after all...

Look after number 1.....
Get your drivers side working first ;D ;D
Sorry Mrs Razor

Joking apart, probably worth a flush of the whole cooling system, do exactly as it says on the tin though, you don't want to losen the gunge and send it to a constriction somewhere else in the system, i.e. the radiator...
