Title: 2.2 starting problem and warning light

Hi all, Need some help.
My 2.2 gls has been playing up. It has been difficult to start taking 5-10 seconds turnover to start, and when it does start my control indicator for exaust emissions light comes on, after few minutes I turn the engine off and restart the engine and the light goes off and runs smoothly,
Please could anyone advise me of the problem

hi i had the same problem on my 2.2.
it was a blocked breather jet in throttle body.

hi took me less than i hour and a can of degreaser.
there is a guide on here with pictures. i stumbled across it.
i am sure one of the more experienced members will post you a link to it.

Could also be the cam sensor, common problem on a 2.2.

If it comes down to it, only replace it with a genuine Vx one.
