Is there an easy way of changing the N/S dipped beam H7 bulb without skinning knuckes, and preferably being able to use both hands !! >:(
-
Try undoing the clamp on the battery and moving it backwards.

I knew there would be something simple...was working in the dark with a torch last night and could find the bolt..where abouts is it?
-
If you,ve still got the battery jacket fitted, you will have to remove that first then the bolt is at the front long side of the battery at the bottom and clamps the bottom of the battery. Moving the battery might not give you much more room but every little helps ;) One other thing, if you decide to remove the battery make sure you have both the radio and CD codes ;)

magic cheers...I got me little card with all the info on still so if I decide to whip the battery out should be no prob. Just checking some sites (Halfords) recon the dipped beam is an H1 bulb..definately removed an H7 (2 blades) from this area (next to the also now failed sidelight bulb..main is still OK!)

h1 dipped h7 main 501 side light :y

Hmmm...odd..OK from the front of the car N/S cluster I have - left to right - Dipped, Side, Main (in the little globe thingy) ?
-
the globe/eyeball is your dipped bud :y
