Title: HELP
Post by: cheekylilscooby on 06 December 2008, 14:54:58
I have just done the biggest and the most stupidest thing in the world!

I was un-doing the positive nut on the battery and slipped the spanner onto the ECU and it sparked quite a bit as i tried to get it off!

Now the car will turn over but won't start

Any suggestions would be most appreicated please as to what i need to possibly replace

I doubt you have actually damaged the ECU so it's probably something silly.

Hmm, Im assuming the ECU cover is earthed?, so you may have blown an Fuse, earth track or lead some where, check fuses first before taking the ECU apart.
