Title: Pre facelift heated seats
Post by: benbrunt on 08 December 2008, 23:10:24
Due to the recent heatwave I've been using the heated seats frequently, the ones on my previous Mondeo were 'subtle' whereas the Omega seem to be like third degree burns.

Are they normally so powerful, or is it the sign of impending doom or electrocution ;)

hmm not good I would say  :-X  We had one replaced under warranty at three years old where the element inside had failed and started burning through the seat and scorching ur leg! It's quite common, i've heard of them burning through leather.

They are jolly toasty though  ;D

1 question...if it's getting too hot on your arse then why not turn it off?
