Title: seat symbol with an x on it

Hi all,

just seen this come up near the interior light anybody know what it is :question

its to do with the airbag and child seat, either armed or not armed depending...
I think i read in the manual it needs a child seat with a transponeder to de activate the airbag, something like that anyway. Light should come on and then go off in similar style to the dash lights. Or thats what mine does anyway . Hth

am i right in thinking as long as the light goes off, i have no problems or is it the reverse.  reason i ask it only comes on every now and then with the ignition

Correct, to the best of my knowledge. Mines the same as yours.

If you fit a childs seat with transponder the light will remain on to signify that the airbag on that side is disabled... :)
