Title: steam/condensation?
Post by: omegav6est on 12 December 2008, 09:15:38
i know its very cold at the mo and most cars will have condensation out of the exhaust but should this not stop when the car is warm?my mig v6 has condensation out the exhaust when i start but it is there all the time its not excessive and i see lots of other cars doing the same.i had 2 cavvies before the mig a 1.8 and a v6 and they both did this to.the water never drops theres no oil contamination in the water or bubbles no water in the oil etc and the car performs well.am i worrying bout nothing and just need to put it down to the hot exhaust meeting cold air?thanks

Worrying about nothing.....water is a by product of a well combusted fossil fuel....and in cold weather it shows more obviously
