Title: Flat Battery
Post by: djdaveyp85 on 12 December 2008, 13:13:13
Hi all.

First of all thanks to everybody for your help with my oil cooler which i have finally had fixed! It's very hard to earn money at the moment!

Given that my battery seeems to keep dying. First of all just wondering whether this is alternator doing this or just a duff battery given that the car is 8 years old and still has the original battery. After jumping it and running it, it seems to die again within 24 hrs. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Just replaced mine after an earlier Tech 2 session from TB showed it only putting 11.8V out.

It was £51 with VAT ffrom the local Vx dealer with Trade Club. (That's for a 65Ah one).

The advice here is that the Vx battery is a good one.
